3.31 Update For Stephen King's 'IT':




It appears the BIG screen adaptation of Stephen King's 'IT', finally has a director and a filming date - Cary Fukunaga will helm the two-part adaptation and production will begin this June in New York...

Story: It’s a small city, a place as hauntingly familiar as your own hometown. Only in Derry the haunting is real… They were seven teenagers when they first stumbled upon the horror. Now they are grown-up men and women who have gone out into the big world to gain success and happiness. But none of them can withstand the force that has drawn them back to Derry to face the nightmare without an end, and the evil without a name...

Back in January Producer Seth Grahame-Smith had this to say about the upcoming project:

"I think that if anything, [the new film] will bring back some of the viciousness of the book that they couldn’t do with the miniseries because it was for broadcast... I think it’s going to be very scary, but I also feel like you’ve got Cary who is going to direct these kids—and he’s incredible at casting, incredible at shooting...
