It appears that Robert Rodriguez's is gearing up for 'Machete Kills In Space', according to Danny Trejo.. Halloween Daily News caught up with Trejo at Mad Monster Party in Charlotte, North Carolina..
When asked about the future of the franchise, Trejo had this to say: "Robert and I are going to start to do Machete Kills in Space, so that’s going to be awesome. Absolutely. We’re going to be working on it this year."
So of course this just mean that Rodriguez will start working on the script this year, but who knows.. Back in 2013 Machete Kills was a massive box-office bomb, only bring in around $7.3 million on a $12M budget.. I'm a little surprised Rodriguez is moving forward with another sequel...
