7.3 Michael Gross Talks 'Tremors 5: Bloodline':

After recently attending a special screening for the upcoming sequel 'Tremors 5: Bloodline' at the Alfred Hitchcock Screening Room on the Universal lot - Michael Gross (Tremors franchise, Family Ties) has decided to post the following reaction onto Facebook:

ONE NEVER QUITE KNOWS how a film will turn out months after it has been out of your hands, but yesterday's screening of Tremors 5: Bloodlines at Universal Studios Entertainment put my worries to rest.

There is humor, emotion, an extraordinary group of actors, and the full-throttle horror you have come to expect from this franchise. Burt Gummer is back, and teamed with the hilarious Jamie Kennedy. My grandson Nick gave it a "thumbs-up."

Tremors 5 Stars: Jamie Kennedy, Natalie Becker, Brandon Auret, Lawrence Joffe, Ian Roberts, Ernest Ndhlovu, Zak Hendrikz, Emmanuel Castis and Michael Gross...

Written By: John Whelpley (Tremors 3: Back to Perfection) and Directed By: Don Michael Paul (Lake Placid: The Final Chapter) - Produced By: Ogden Gavanski (Warm Bodies)...

Story: The theatrical release of the original Tremors in 1990 combined suspense-filled action, sci-fi imagination and witty humor in the tale of a tiny Nevada town terrorized by giant man-eating worms known as Graboids. The Graboids eventually morphed into even more deadly creatures known as Ass Blasters.

In this all-new adventure that travels halfway around the world to South Africa, the Graboids and the Ass Blasters are not only bigger and badder but Tremors 5 introduces an additional unexpected surprise that raises the stakes in the battle for survival.

Michael Gross returns as weapons enthusiast and expert subterranean creature hunter Burt Gummer with Jamie Kennedy as his new right hand man, tech-savvy Travis. The pair are joined by an international cast as they mount a battle against the deadly creatures that turns out to be far more than they bargained for...

The MPAA has rated the flick PG-13 for creature violence, gore, and language... Look for it on Blu-ray/DVD/VOD this October...
