It appears we finally know the date (or at least the month) when "LEATHERFACE" will be hitting the big screen.. According to producer Christa Campbell (via twitter), the film will land in theaters this October..

I think this is one stupid idea, we don't need a film based on the teenage years of Leatherface, no more than we needed to see a young punk ass Michael Myers running around causing mischief and mayhem... This is nothing but a money grab by the producers and the studio..
But I will say this - if anyone can save this film from being another shit stain on the franchise, it will be Alexandre Bustillo and Julian Maury...
