Richard Mundy's 'Twenty Twenty-Four' Lands On HULU Today

Press Release: "Award-winning independent film Twenty Twenty-Four is coming to Hulu and all digital platforms in US and Canada on the 1st of March. Directed by Richard Mundy and starring Andrew Kinsler, Twenty Twenty-Four is an exercise in sustained tension, featuring one location; a vast underground nuclear bunker that houses only one man and his AI companion.

Twenty Twenty-Four premiered in London’s Empire Cinema and went on to San Francisco Independent Film Festival in 2017. The tense indie flick has since been acquired by HBO for distribution in Central and Eastern Europe, ahead of additional releases lined up in China and the UK (details TBC).

Logline: A lone scientist named Roy maintains Plethura, an underground bunker for the coming nuclear disaster. Although conflicted with the fate of humanity, Roy keeps the bunker ever-prepared for those who will eventually come to populate it. But things take a dramatic turn when Roy becomes prematurely isolated. Locked in, and with no knowledge of what has happened up top, it becomes painfully clear that Roy is alone and nobody is coming for him. Twenty Twenty-Four is a tense and unsettling nightmare you’ll never be sure you’ve woken up from."
