3.11 Evil Dead 4? Not!

There has been a lot of talk about Evil Dead 4 of late - In a recent chat with Bleeding Cool.com Sam Raimi was asked for an update on the long talked about sequel..

"I would love to make Evil Dead 4. My brother (Ivan?) and I plan to work on the script this summer."

Well it appears Evil Dead 4 may not happen after all: Ghost House Pictures producing partner Rob Tapert has set out to clarified earlier reports on the EVIL DEAD 4 rumors - "That would be Army of Darkness 2. Everybody calls it Evil Dead 4 but Army of Darkness wasn't called Evil Dead anywhere except by the fans."

I still say DON'T hold your breath..

The first 6 mins of A&E's 'Bates Motel' has made its way online... Many many years ago first details of a new film tittled 'All The Boys Love Mandy Lane' landed online.. The film sounded very awesome! A US release date seem just around the corner.. And than nothing... Seven years later, that's right seven years.. The unthinkable is about to happen..

Press Release: RADiUS-TWC is proud to announce that it has acquired U.S. rights to ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE, the long anticipated feature directorial debut from director Jonathan Levine (WARM BODIES, 50/50) that has been rescued by the Weinstein Company’s boutique label.

Starring Amber Heard (Drive Angry, Machete Kills) and Anson Mount ("Hell on Wheels"), ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY is about a group of high schoolers who invite Mandy Lane, “a good girl” who becomes the object of everyone’s affection after returning from summer break, to a weekend party on a secluded ranch. ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE will be released in late summer – seven years after its Toronto Film Festival Midnight premiere.

Plot: Mandy Lane. Beautiful. Untouched. High school royalty waiting to be crowned. Since the dawn of Junior year, men have tried to possess her. We can all look for the flick On Demand June 6th and in theaters on July 12th... V/H/S/2 will also be playing at both South by Southwest and the Tribeca Film Festival..

Plot: Heidi, a blond rock chick, DJs at a local radio station, and together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster) forms part of the "Big H Radio Team." A mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, a gift of the Lords. She assumes it's a rock band on a mission to spread their word.

As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords' record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma. Later, Whitey plays the Lords' record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with his listeners. The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon, Heidi and her cohorts are far from the rock spectacle they're expecting. The original Lords of Salem are returning and they're out for blood..
