More talk on Evil Dead 4 or should I say 'Army Of Darkness 2', In a recent chat with Bleeding Cool.com Sam Raimi was asked for an update on the long talked about sequel..
"I would love to make Evil Dead 4. My brother (Ivan?) and I plan to work on the script this summer."
Then Ghost House Pictures producing partner Rob Tapert set out to clarified earlier reports on the EVIL DEAD 4 rumors -
"That would be Army of Darkness 2. Everybody calls it Evil Dead 4 but Army of Darkness wasn't called Evil Dead anywhere except by the fans."
Now Ash himself (Bruce Campbell) has added his 2 cents: Empire caught up with the actor and it sounds like the film is very much on his radar..
"Evil Dead IV, Army Of Darkness 2... however you want to slice it. It’s random ideas in Sam’s head. Let’s not go crazy here. He’s just finished doing Oz, and he’s going to take some time off and he says he’s going to work on it this summer with his brother. He could be smoking cigars at a lakeside cabin for all I know, or he might actually be working, who knows?"
For the ones who didn't know, there's actually two different endings to ARMY OF DARKNESS — the one most people are familiar with is when Ash returns to his own time and fights off one last Demon/Deadite in the S-Mart where he works; and the other is the Director's Cut - Ash wakes up in a post-apocalyptic London. So which of these endings would inspire the next flick?
"I would think the post-Apocalyptic because it gives great possibilities for an Omega Man movie, and who he might be fighting against. It would be a very interesting world. But I’m fine either way. I’m sure Sam will concoct some ridiculous story and an outrageous journey, so I don’t really care where it starts and ends. The fun thing is working again with Sam Raimi. That’s the only reason to do these incredibly difficult movies than work for a guy who you really like working with and who you respect."
I would like nothing better for this movie to happen, but the fact is Sam, Bruce and the rest of gang are masters at getting every ones hops up.. Don't hold you breath!

Scream Queen Jessica Cameron (Silent Night) will make her Directorial debut with 'TRUTH OR DARE', the film will center around 6 college kids finding Internet stardom when they make “Truth or Dare” videos with violent twists. It’s all fun and games until their number one fan decides he wants to play...
Jessica co-wrote the feature and will be producing the movie with writer/producer Jonathan Higgins.. After dealing with numerous directors with their scheduling conflicts - Jessica decided to take matters into her own hands. This is what she had to say about her decision:
"I’m excited to tackle this new challenge in my film career and I am blessed to have acquired a toptier team to help make my vision a reality. I could not allow this story to be watered down since I love it so much for how twisted it is. The story is original and unapologetic. I think that’s one of the huge benefits of making an indy film as opposed to a studio picture; you can go to those places that studios are afraid of. Will we offend some people – YES. But horror films offend people already, so I see no need to alter the story to try and appease people who aren’t going to see it and simply complain about the movie. I am confident that other like minded horror fans will love it as it is a gritty, dirty, no holds barred film that goes THERE!”
Jessica and her producing team will start an "IndieGoGO" campaign shortly in order to secure additional funding for post production for “Truth or Dare.”..
