4.8 R.I.P 'Richard Brooker AKA Jason':

It appears stuntman/actor Richard Brooker has passed away.. Born in London, England in 1954 - He was best known for his role as Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part III.. Richard was selected to be the third psychotic, deformed, machete-wielding serial killer Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th Part III as director Steve Miner wanted a bigger man for the role.. Richard was the first actor to don the now iconic hockey mask as Jason, which would later become the series trademark. He did all his own stunts and wore blue jeans and a sweatshirt for the duration of filming..

There is no word as of yet on the cause of death.. He will be missed RIP..

4.8 Weekend Boxoffice:

Evil Dead takes the top spot at this weekend's boxoffice - The flick earned an impressive $25,775,847.. Only time will tell how well the film will hold up over the coming days and weeks, but I am looking for the film to end it's run around $50-$55 miilion.. The post conversion 3d re-release of Jurassic Park had an impressive opening as well, taking in $18,620,145.. The Host dropped -51.0% earning $5,198,615 in it's second weekend, The Call starring Halle Berry earned $3,500,248 in it's forth weekend..

4.8 Alternate Ending 'Evil Dead' Spoiler:

Now as most of you know who did bother to sat through the end credits of the film know that Bruce Campbell makes a very brief appearance once the final credit has rolled, popping up to say "Groovy"..

The alternate ending takes place directly after the film's conclusion, with a blood-soaked Mia (Jane Levy) stumbling away from the scene of the demonic shenanigans..

"Right after what we see in the film ends, Mia makes it out to the road. She’s exhausted and covered in blood. She passes out. A truck with a farmer (“Billy Bob”) and his wife happen upon her and they help her into the truck. She’s in the backseat, dazed as they’re headed to the hospital. Just as the farmer is explaining that she’ll be ok – BOOM! She opens her eyes. She’s a deadite, she smiles and the film cuts to black..."

There has been rumors going around that Bruce Campell aka Ash - is the driver of the tuck that picks up Mia, she looks at Ash and turns again into a Deadite.. Then we see Ash with the camera zoomed in a close-up on his face as he says: “Groovy!” and we fade to black...

A new trailer for Kimberly Peirce's upcoming remake of 'CARRIE' has made it's way online.. To be honest the trailer does not look that great, there appears to be an overuses of bad CGI..




Plot: A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.

Heather Dorff is a Chicago-based actress who got her start with the award winning “What They Say” which she starred in, narrated, produced, and wrote.
