Kevin Smith has updated 'RED STATE' website with the announcement! That Lionsgate will release his political horror flick on VOD this coming Labor Day (Monday, September 5).

Red State, which stars Kyle Gallner, Melissa Leo, Dermot Mulroney, Michael Angarano, Steven Root, Michael Parks and John Goodman, "unfolds in a small town dominated by a fundamentalist preacher, Abin Cooper. It tells the story of three high school boys who, on their way to an internet arranged meeting with a woman, end up crossing paths with Cooper.
