That's right folks (Deadline) is reporting that Austin-based Robert Rodriguez is trying to court Gibson for “Machete 2″, hoping to sign the star before Cannes - The site also reports that Oscar Nominee Michelle Williams (“My Week with Marilyn”) is also someone Rodriguez is hoping to snag for the film.
"Machete Kills" finds Machete (Trejo) recruited by the US Government for a mission. He must battle his way through Mexico to take down a madman cartel leader and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war across the planet with a weapon in space.
