04/27 Poltergeist Remake Update - Kinda:

MGM's Roger Birnbaum was on hand to speak with film students at the University of Denver and he dropped some interesting pieces of information about MGM's upcoming projects:

Birnbaum revealed that Sam Raimi is in talks to helm the long talked about Poltergeist remake.




Right now Raimi is hard at work on "Oz The Great and Powerful" - So who knows if and when we'll see Raimi's verison of the classic  paranormal tale.. The remake has been kicked around MGM with various writers and directors over the past few years.
