Based on true events, "Possession" tells the story of the Brenek family: father Clyde, mother Stephanie, and daughter Em. When Em purchases an ancient box at a nearby yard sale, she becomes obsessed with her new artifact, and with good reason -- lurking inside is a dibbuk, a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its human host.
