Sam Raimi has been very busy of late, not only is his company Ghost House Pictures releasing "The Possession" in theaters today, along with Lionsgate Entertainment.. Writing a new horror film with his brother (Ted Raimi). But he is also gearing up to try to sell a remake "Evil Dead" that NO one really wants..
But what most of you don't know (Or maybe you do) the horror master is also looking to produce the remake of Poltergeist! That's right - the 1982 Steven Spielberg, Tobe Hooper classic.. *CORRECTION* The Possession will be in Theaters August 31th..
In a recent interview with "Collider" he was asked for a status update on the remake:
