Universal Pictures has tapped Len Wiseman (Total Recall remake, Underworld and Underworld: Evolution) to direct a reboot of 'The Mummy'..

John Spaihts (The Darkest Hour, Prometheus) has been recruited to write the screenplay and have stated - the reboot will be darker than its predecessors... Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Star Trek) are producing the flick..
