Sony/Screen Gems will release Paul W.S. Anderson's 'Resident Evil 6' September 12th 2014.. Late last year Anderson confirmed Resident Evil 6 would end the franchise.. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the first Resident Evil film, after years of low to no budget zombie flicks - RE1 was a fresh take on zombies and the infected.. I really hope if the series ever does get rebooted, it will be more based on the video game and not the directors hot wife..
