I'm sure most of you know that the reboot of 'Evil dead', made its way onto dvd/Blu-ray yesterday.. Hopefully all you little deadites have picked up your copy by now! So where does (Evil Dead 2013) go from here? Director Fede Alvarez recently hooked up with Collider to talk about the upcoming sequel:
"We’re discussing. We’re still talking with (Sam Raimi) about it and trying to figure out what we should do. Maybe because I’m a child of the 80′s, but for me a sequel is a story that follows the previous one, and sometimes if you haven’t seen the original, then you don’t understand the second one. So that’s kind of my ideal sequel – a movie that continues the story, takes one character and moves on, and moves forward with that character that survived with the first one."
I really hope we do get a sequel soon, I for one loved the film - it was a return to bone crushing horror! And anyone who disagrees - is probably a closet 'Twilight' fan.. lol
