11.13 'Independence Day 2' Delayed:

Not really a shock here, Independence Day 2 has been pushed to July 1, 2016.. A full year from the films previous release date.. To be honest this probably the right move, after all the summer of 2015 is shaping up to be the summer of blockbusters and it's a 50/50 chance at best that Will Smith, will return for the sequel..

The flick could have easily gotten lost in the mix of superheros and dinosaurs... Plus July 2016 will mark the 20th anniversary of the release of ID4..

Director Roland Emmerich confirmed that Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman would return to do battle with those pesky Aliens.. But with the release date now being so far into the future, there is a chance that Goldblum and Pullman may not return..
