If you guys remember a couple of weeks ago Romero confirmed that he was asked to direct a couple of episodes of the hit series:
"They asked me to do a couple of episodes of ‘The Walking Dead,’ but I didn’t want to be a part of it.. Basically it’s just a soap opera with a zombie occasionally. I always used the zombie as a character for satire or a political criticism, and I find that missing in what’s happening now."
Although I do agree with George, that TWD is more of a soap opera with a few zombies here and there.. I also believe there may be a little jealousy on his part.. I'm sorry but if someone is developing a movie or tv series, that person is not obligated to involved George..
