Uggg feels like I'm reporting on gossip all the time when it comes to Sam Raimi and his tango partner Bruce Campbell.. As most of you guys know there have been tons of Rumors/confirmations flying around for months now when it come to the long talked about sequel to Army Of Darkness.. It all started around the release date for the remake of Evil Dead.. It was reported, Raimi/Tapert/Campbell had no interest when it came to Evil Dead 4... But was very much down for Army Of Darkness 2..
Then we all hared Sam Raimi and his (brother Ivan) was HARD at work on the script for the upcoming sequel - Director Fede Alvarez twitted that Sam will be directing the flick - Then Bruce showed up at Wizard World Nashville Comic Con, and talked about how much fun it will be to see Ash fight the deadite in a walker... Last week Bruce told a Seattle radio station that he was really looking forward to working with Sam and Tapert again blah blah blah..
But now Bruce has told another radio station: "It’s all Internet b.s. – there’s no reality whatsoever. These random comments slip out of my mouth or Sam Raimi’s mouth, next thing you know, we’re making a sequel".
Remember I told you guys, I would like nothing better for this movie to happen, but the fact is Sam, Bruce and the rest of gang are masters at getting every ones hops up.. Don't hold you breath! I'm not saying the film is dead, I do believe Sam Raimi was most likely working on the script with his brother Ivan.. But that doesn't mean the film will ever see the light of day...
