After the box office success of James Wan's 'The Conjuring', we all knew this was coming.. It appears the film will receive the spin-off treatment - Director of Photography John R. Leonetti (The Conjuring), will go behind the camera for 'Annabelle' the creepy looking doll.. The flick will be a prequel to The Conjuring..

Plans are still going forward for a sequel to The Conjuring as well, the flick will be based on the paranormal investigation works of Ed and Lorraine Warren.. Filming for Annabelle should start Spring of next year..
