Ok we already knew that Legendary Pictures were moving forward with a sequel to 'Godzilla', and that Gareth Edwards is set to return as the director once he is done with the Star Wars spin off.. But the question has always been, who would Godzilla fight, the humans, more mutos, aliens??
Well yesterday at Comic-Con Legendary Pictures finally revealed that Goodzilla will face - KING GHIDORAH, RODAN And MOTHRA!! So it appears that Toho liked Gareth Edwards version of Godzilla and are confident that he is the right man to handle the franchise..
Leading up to the big announcement a video played, showing teaser images of the three legendary icons - followed by a text that read "Let Them Fight"... The video ended with Godzilla rising out of the ocean and stepping onto Alcatraz releasing his mighty roar!!
Now to be honest, the film is years away, it will probably be at least 2017 before Edwards will start working on the flick.. Keep in mind that many things can change, so take all this new info with a grain of salt...
