It appears that Millennium Films is moving right ahead with a prequel to Tobe Hooper’s 1974 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. Newcomer Seth M. Sherwood has signed on to pen the script.. The film will focus on Leatherface's teenage years, make sense huh?
'Leatherface: The Wonder Years', ok I made that title up the film is simply being called 'Leatherface', for now.. Anyways the film does not have a director as of yet - And it is not known at this time if Lionsgate will be back to distribute...
I think this is one stupid idea, we don't need a film based on Leatherface's teenage years, no more than we needed to see a young punk ass Michael Myers running around causing mischief and mayhem... This is nothing but a money grab by the producers and the studio..
