8.8 Eli Roth's 'The Green Inferno' Gets Yanked!



It appears that Open Road Films has pulled Eli Roth's upcoming cannibal jungle flick 'The Green Inferno', from it's release schedule "indefinitely"...

The flick was set to hit theaters this September 5th... This probably means the film will probably receive a direct-to-video release at some point.. The studio did not give a reason as to why the film was pulled..

But Deadline: Is reporting the reason the flick was pulled was because financier Worldview Entertainment is balking at ex-CEO Christopher Woodrow’s commitment to provide the P&A (prints and advertising)...
