10.15 MPAA Rating For 'Poltergeist' Reboot:




It appears that the MPAA has given the upcoming reboot of Tobe Hooper's 1982 classic 'Poltergeist', a PG-13 rating for intense frightening sequences, brief suggestive material, and some language... To me the rating is not a big deal because the original was rated PG, the pg-13 rating did not exist at the time, so I'm sure if it had.. That film would have been rated pg-13 as well..

Originally slated for a February 13th 2015 release, the film will now land in theaters July 24... If you guys remember last year Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures partnered with Fox 2000 Pictures, a division of Twentieth Century Fox, to co-finance and distribute the film.
