The international trailer for Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, remakes) 'EXETER', has made it's way online...
Way back in May of 2011, it was revealed that Marcus Nispel (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, remakes) would be returning to Horror to direct "EXETER formerly known as Backmask" then last year we learned the film had entered post-production.. It appears the flick will be released in China January 15 - The film still does not have a US release date as of yet.. But I am willing to guess this will be a straight to dvd/blu-ray release...
Story: "During a sex, drugs, and rock-fueled party, six small-town teenagers find an old vintage record and decide to play it backwards in order to listen for any subliminal/satanic messages. Lo and behold, a seemingly malevolent spirit quickly infiltrates the group, wreaking havoc as it moves from one body to another. Eventually, however, it’s revealed that the spirit in question is actually trying to convey a message... And that the real source of horror isn’t particularly paranormal, but rather something (or someone) much closer to home."
