7.9 Wesley Snipes Talks 'BLADE 4':



Wesley Snipes confirms his been talking to Marvel about reprising his role as Blade - Deadline caught up with the actor at Comic Con in San Diego.. When Snipes was asked about bring the vampire hunter back, he had this to say:

The project is controlled by Marvel and we did have a really productive and a wonderful meeting and we discussed a number of things. I don’t know where it’s on their schedule at this point, that hasn’t been decided. I guess it’s still up in the air.

When asked if we could ever see him joining expanding Marvel Universe in another way?

Snipes had this to say: That’s a possibility too. I’ve always been a fan of these pieces and adaptations and I’d be nice to be a part of the family again. But if we don’t do a Blade 4 or something else with Marvel, we’ll do something else...

I believe it's a good chance we will see the actor as Blade once again, the flick landed in theaters back in 1998 and was the first film to really kick off the more darker edgier superhero trend...

Story: In a world where vampires walk the earth, Blade has a goal. His goal is to rid the world of all vampire evil. When Blade witnesses a vampire bite Dr. Karen Jenson, he fights away the beast and takes Jenson back to his hideout. Here, alongside Abraham Whistler, Blade attempts to help heal Jenson. The vampire Quinn who was attacked by Blade, reports back to his master Deacon Frost, who is planning a huge surprise for the human population...

Blade was released 21 August 1998, the film pulled in $70.1 million at the box office on a $45 million dollar budget... Worldwide gross was $131,183,530....
