Screenwriter Talks 'GODZILLA' Sequel:

Even though we are still a long long ways from the upcoming sequel to 'GODZILLA 2014', that hasn't stopped screenwriter Max Borenstein from giving a little update.. In a recent interview with Collider (at the Television Critics Association Press), Borenstein had this to say about the upcoming project:

I'm writing it now, and it's really going to be great. I don't want to go off book and tell you anything that I’m not allowed to tell you. The response to the first film was really exciting, but now that that world is established, we can do bigger and even better things. We're really stoked.

When it comes to Godzial 2014, the biggest complaint I keep hearing over and over - He wasn't in the film long enough even though, he had about the same screen time as Godzilla 1998 and just about every other Godzilla film... Anyways...

Last month Legendary Pictures Barnaby Legg at Comic-Con, address this complaint when asked if we will get to see more Godzilla this time around:

“Oh, don’t worry. We know,” said Legg. “All I can say is stay tuned! You’re going to get exactly what you’re hoping for.”

I'm willing to bet the biggest complaint about the sequel will be, to much action/fighting, no human characters.... Godzilla 2' is set to land in theaters June 8, 2018, Gareth Edwards will return to direct... Max Borenstein will write the script, Legendary Pictures is producing along with Mary Parent and Alex Garcia...
