Back in May Screenwriter Nick Antosca took to twitter and twitted:
“It’s not a sequel to the 2009 version. Different characters, time period, style.”
To me, this is great news.. I thought the remake was utter BS to be honest, I did like Derek Mears take on Jason but the rest of the damn characters were annoying as fu@k... Anyways... A few months ago we learned the film would not be found footage (confirmed by producer Brad Fuller)...
UPDATE: Screenwriter Nick Antosca has walked away from the project, the studio is now in search of a new script-writer...
