3.29 Stills/Posters And Press Release For UK's "Blood Curse":




Press Release: British horror films Blood Curse: The Haunting of Alicia Stone and Blood Curse II: Asmodeus Rises is nearing completion and features an ensemble of some familiar faces to fans of Independent Horror including Nathan Head, Melissa Hollett, Lloyd Kaufman, Cassandra Sechler, Damien Colletti and more.

Strange things start to happen to Alicia and her husband Jason after she receives a gift in the mail from her great-Aunt Gwen, is their house haunted or has the family been cursed, or is it something far darker? The first installment in the duology stars scream queen Melissa Hollett (Dead Walkers: Rise Of The 4th Reich, Legacy Of Thorn, Exorcist Chronicles), Keiron Hollett (Dead Cert, Apparition Of Evil)..

Along with: Troma’s very own Lloyd Kaufman (The Toxic Avenger, Poultrygeist), actor and filmmaker Louis Frost (Dogging, Cutting Room), TV’s Lee Martin (Lee Martin’s The Midnight Hour), British horror actor Nathan Head (Theatre of Fear aka The Midnight Horror Show, Ouijageist, Exorcist Chronicles), avant-garde performer Cassandra Sechler (Wireboy, Spidarlings) and exploitational actor/filmmaker Jason Impey (Home Made, Naked Nazi).

The story continues directly into the second film, Asmodeus Rises. Having lost all hope, Alicia’s husband Jason calls on the help of Paranormal TV host, and ex-exorcist, Tyson Knight to confront the demonic forces that have plagued the Stone household in this gore-drenched sequel. Actors Melissa Hollett, Keiron Hollett, Nathan Head, Lloyd Kaufman, Lee Martin and Louis Frost all reprise their roles from the first film with Christopher Winchester (The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug, The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies), Rudy Barrow (Exorcist Chronicles, Blaze Of Gory), Damien Colletti (No Strings 2: Playtime In Hell, Tape Me: Reel 1), Liz Mente Bishop (Sex, Lies & Depravity, Exorcist Chronicles) and Donna Rhian (Lead Me To The Dark) joining the cast.

The two BLOOD CURSE films are mostly complete, with minor pickups and additional scenes being currently shot in Brighton, England. Horror fans will not be disappointed as there are promises of scenes featuring killer clown dolls, telekinesis, levitation, demonic possession, supernatural weather and blood sacrifices, all shot using a mixture of practical effects and digital visual effects...
