Back in November it was announced that Kevin Bacon had signed on to star in an all new Tremors tv series... Now Bacon has taking to twitter (Q&A) to give us all a little update:
"I would love to make another Tremors, in fact we're working on a ten episode mini-series for Tremors right now. I think it'd be great."
— Kevin Bacon (@kevinbacon) May 12, 2016
"Bacon will also serve as executive producer. Andrew Miller, whose previous works include “Backstrom”, “The Secret Circle”, and the 1999 Dennis Rodman film “Simon Sez”, will adapt the film to television. No network is attached to the project yet, but the series is being produced by Universal and Blumhouse"
Back in 2003 the SyFy Channel aired a short lived Tremors tv series that starred Michael Gross as Burt Gummer... The original 1990 filmed starred Kevin Bacon (as Valentine McKee), Fred Ward (as Earl Bass), Michael Gross (as Burt Gummer) and Reba McEntire (as Heather Gummer)
The film centered around small town gradually becomes aware of a strange creature which picks off people one by one. But what is this creature, and where is it? At the same time, a seismologist is working in the area, she detects _tremors_. The creature lives underground, and can 'pop up' without warning. Trapped in their town, the town-folk have no escape...
It's unclear if Fred Ward or Michael Gross will return...
