After marketing the hell out of the 'Blair Witch' for the better part of a month, it doesn't appear it will pay off for Lionsgate.. The unwanted sequel only pulled in around $4 million at the North American box office on Friday, on it's way to a disappointing $9.4 million opening weekend..
But to be fair, the film will probably make a profit in the end - production cost was only $5 million, pretty much guaranteeing the Blair Witch will not lose any money..
