Part “Devils Rejects” and part “Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” the story will center around Five college kids going to a protest in a small town where another unthinkably horrible incident has just occurred.
They get lost along the way and stop at a small gas station to ask for directions. The gas station manager chases them off because of their politics. But a seemingly sweet teenage girl who is hanging out there gives them directions.
They come to an abandoned looking orphanage and ask for directions. As they do one of their tires goes flat. The woman at the house sees this and tells them they’ll have to walk into town to get some help - their phone line’s been down for a week now. But it is getting late and they agree to let the kids stay the night. She serves them drinks laced with horse tranquilizers to knock the kids out.
When they wake up, our idealistic young people are tied up and the entire inbred family is gathered around, hootin’ and hollerin’ about how they’re going to have a hunt! They’ll give the kids a head start and if they make it to the highway four miles away, well then God bless ‘em. But if they don’t, their carcasses will end up hanging from the rafters in the barn.
