I Watched "47 Meters Down":

You're going to get the bends, apparently that is the worse thing that can happen to you (not death by shark or death by running out of air) when you are scuba diving/shark cage..

Written and directed by Johannes Roberts - Cast: Mandy Moore, Claire Holt and Matthew Modine.. "47 Meters Down" is a choppy thriller that plays out like a CW meets SyFy channel movie of the week..

The story centers around Two sisters vacationing in Mexico, the ladies decide to be a little adventurous and go in to a shark cage.. As luck would have it, the rope holding the cage to the boat snaps sending the cage down to the bottom of the ocean.

47 Metes Down' feels like a movie that would have been released back in the late 90s early 2000s.. And for a movie about two ladies trapped below the sea , this flick has a ton of jump scares.. I wasn't aware sharks get off on popping out of nowhere to scare shitless us poor humans..

Don't get me wrong the film does have some pretty in intense moments and is very claustrophobia at times, the Cinematography is beautiful.. The acting is not horrible, but it could have been a lot better..

47 Metes Down gets a Grade C
