Let me start by saying, this film is a 1000% better than the first Annabelle movie.. The two main characters Talitha Bateman as Janice and Lulu Wilson as Linda are both fantastic. As a matter of fact the whole cast was pretty solid, I can't think of one bad performance..
The first half of the film works on character and atmospheric building, so the story is somewhat of a slow burn in the beginning, which might bore some viewers.. I also think the film relies a bit to much on jump scares at times..
But do not get me wrong, this is a solid horror flick.. The second half of the film is a dark roller coaster ride, loaded with creepy imagery.. If you have a fear of dolls, this is not the movie for you lol..
