It now appears the upcoming reboot of Halloween will take place after the first one.. According to John Carpenter:
"It’s kind of a… I don’t know how to describe it. It’s almost an alternative reality. It picks up after the first one and it pretends that none of the other [sequels] were made. It’s gonna be fun. There’s a really talented director and it was well-written. I’m impressed."
I'm a little disappointed, I was hoping the new flick would take place after Halloween II.. Anyways, the film will land in theaters October 19, 2018 - Jamie Lee Curtis will star, along with Judy Greer as Karen Strode (daughter of Laurie Strode)..
David Gordon Green will direct from a script he co-written with Danny McBride.. John Carpenter is returning to the franchise as executive produce.. The project is being produced By: Malek Akkad and Jason Blum..
