It appears things are moving right along with the upcoming reboot of HALLOWEEN, just a few weeks ago we learned that Jamie Lee Curtis would return to her iconic role as Laurie Strode.. It's now been reveled that John Carpenter will not only act as executive produce but he will indeed score the film was as well:
Carpenter speaking with Billboard“I am an executive producer and it looks clear to me that I’ve made a deal to do the music,” he told the site. “There are many options. I’ll be consulting with the director to see what he feels. I could create a new score, we could update the old score and amplify it, or we could combine those two things. I’ll have to see the movie to see what it requires.”
Halloween will land in theaters October 19, 2018 - the film will also star Judy Greer as Karen Strode (daughter of Laurie Strode)..
