Cult Of Chucky' Written and Directed by Don Mancini.. The story centers around Nica (from Curse Of Chucky) now 4 years later and living in a mental asylum after being accused of killing her family and friends.. For some reason her Doctor thinks it's a good idea to use a Good Guy doll as a therapy technique..
I'm not gonna go into spoilers, but lets just say Chucky begins a brutal assault on the patients and sets out to take revenge on Nica.. Over all I thought Cult O Chucky was pretty decent, it could have been better but it was a big improvement over Curse Of Chucky.. The acting was pretty good by Fiona Dourif, Elisabeth Rosen and Michael Therriault. and it's always great to hear Brad Dourif voicing Chucky.. But that being said some of the acting was pretty bad by other cast members.
Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany and Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, were both great.. But to be honest they were not in the film that much.. Btw stick around to end credits, there is a nice little scene.. You won't be disappointed.
The special effects were outstanding, from what I understand animatronics were used for most of the doll scenes, if not all.. Over all Cult Of Chucky is a pretty good watch, check the film out when you get a chance!
