Unrated Cut Of Fede Alvarez's 'Evil Dead' Remake To Hit Blu-ray Next Month:

It's about freaking time! You guys remember way back in 2013 when there was a lot of talk of an unrated cut of Fede Alvarez’s Evil Dead remake coming to blu-ray? Of course, that never happened although the unrated cut did eventually end up on VOD. It's now been confirmed we will finally get that unrated cut of Evil Dead on blu-ray after all these years.

Sony Home Entertainment will release the film onto Blu-ray on October 23! This release will include the theatrical cut as well.

The MPAA has Rated Evil Dead "R" for strong bloody violence and gore, some sexual content and language... The films original cut was NC-17 and needed to be cut down to receive the R rating.
