My Thoughts On VFW

Okay, so I watched VFW the other night if you didn't know the story centers around a group of old war veterans hanging out at the local VFW watering hole when they are confronted by a crazed drug dealer and his drug-infested almost zombie-like army of drug-addicts resulting in a bloody brutal gory fight to the death.

I really enjoyed the heck out of this flick it's kind of a throwback to the 70s 80s maybe even early 90s action thrillers and loaded with great character actors like Stephen Lang, William Sadler, Fred Williamson, and Martin Kove.

The film has a great score, at times it feels like you are watching a John Carpenter movie because of the great score and just the total vibe of the movie.

VFW is a very brutal movie with lots of blood and gore and with a superb cast. If you liked From From Dusk Till Dawn, Assault on precinct 13, or Fest I think you will definitely enjoy VFW.
