Overall it was a very enjoyable watch. The flick is definitely in the same spirit of Scouts vs Zombies and The Goonies...
The young actors all gave great performances. I'm not sure what the production budget on the film was I'm sure it was limited but that didn't stop the film from having good special effects because I was impressed with the aliens effects and the gore of course.
If you haven't seen the film definitely check it out 👽
7 out of 10 Severed Thumbs 👍
Apparently the film is a spinoff from 2013's anthology film V/H/S/2. The story is based on the segment titled "Slumber Party Alien Abduction".
Plot: With Gary and Samantha's parents out of town on Halloween weekend, a rager of a teenage house party turns to terror when aliens attack, forcing the siblings to band together to survive the night...
Cast: Dominic Mariche, Phoebe Rex, Calem MacDonald and Asher Grayson
Written by: Jason Eisener and John Davies
Directed by: Jason Eisener
Runtime: 75 minutes
As far as I know the film has not been rated by the MPAA but the flick has strong violence, gore and strong language...
