Oh for god sakes? It appears Lionsgate is looking to revamp 'American Psycho' for today's generation.
First of all the novel was published in 1991 with the movie being released in 2000. My question is how is a story like American Psycho going to work with today's PC overload generation? Hell the original film being as crazy and outrageous as it was the flick was pretty damn tamed compared to Bret Easton Ellis novel. And I mean tamed by alottttt.
I can only assume Lionsgate is about to commit a major Klusterfuk and 'water down' 'soften' 'weaken' in other PC the hell out of the narrative for today's society. Will it work? Doubtful.. But does Hollywood learn? No..
At least Lionsgate is looking to go low budget from what I've read. At least the studio will not lose a chit-ton of money when this puppy flops.. Fools @spookysteph
