It's been awhile since we heard anything new about the upcoming Kane Hodder and Bill Moseley film 'Old 37'... Last we heard the film was complete, like I said - that was awhile ago.. But finally it appears things are moving forward with the flick..
Press Release: OLD 37, a psychological slasher about two brothers posing as paramedics who intercept 911 calls in a retired old ambulance, has partnered with Spotlight Pictures and will be heading to the American Film Market (AFM) this year. AFM will be taking place from November 5th through November 12th in Santa Monica, CA. Spotlight Pictures will be handling foreign sales of the film.
Fast-paced and blood-soaked, OLD 37 taps into the most basic human fear: vulnerability. The words “don’t worry; I’m a paramedic” will make you think twice before dialing 9-1-1, similar to what Jaws did with people going into the water.
The film stars Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th, Hatchet) and Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses) as twisted brothers working together to exact revenge on careless teen drivers who may be responsible for their mother’s hit and run death.
“I really liked the script for OLD 37, and I think my character, John Roy, is very interesting. I enjoyed working with my buddy Bill Moseley as his brother. Wait until you see how we push the boundaries of demented!” says Kane Hodder.
Bill Moseley had to add, “I’m really excited to be a part of OLD 37. I loved the script and the characters. It was great to work with my old friend Kane Hodder. We’re convention buddies as well as having worked on several projects together like Fallen Angels and The Devil’s Rejects. Our personal relationship played well as the two psychotic brothers slaughtering people in the OLD 37 ambulance.”

OLD 37 features a performance from ARIA-nominated Australian rock band Sheppard. The band, which performs live in a party scene in the film, also has four songs featured on the soundtrack. Each song is off their new debut, the full-length Bombs Away, which premiered at #2 on the ARIA Charts and is certified gold.
Other musicians featured on the OLD 37 soundtrack include The Used, Circa Survive, Night Riots, States, Death On Two Wheels, Survival Guide, DariusTX, and Emii.
The film was written and produced by Paul Travers with executive producer Steven Beer and producing partners Carrie Alton, Evan Greenhill, and Dayna Ghiraldi. With music composed by Darius Holbert (Hobo With a Shotgun, World’s Greatest Dad, Cedar Rapids), this team is ready to bring the scares. And many of the scares will be provided by Brian Spears, who is doing the FX and has worked on V/H/S, Beneath, and Hellbenders, just to name a few...
