“‘Hitchock’ is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s 1960 seminal movie ‘Psycho.’
James D’Arcy stars as Psycho‘s leading man Anthony Perkins (who played mama’s boy Norman Bates), Helen Mirren plays Alma Reville, Scarlett Johansson plays Janet Leigh, Jessica Biehl plays Vera Miles, and Ralph Macchio will plays screenwriter Joe Stefano. The Sacha Gervasi-directed adaptation of the Stephen Rebello book is just getting underway through Montecito Picture Co and Fox Searchlight.
