After going forever without any real updates regarding Paranormal Activity 5 - We all learned last month that Paramount Pictures was to move PA 5 from its October 25th, 2013 release date To January 3rd, 2014... No specific reason was given, but once again the studio backed out of that date, apparently that was never a confirmed release date.. The studio has now announced that PA 5 will land in theaters October 24, 2014..
The first spin-off to the very successful franchise 'Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones', will land in theaters January 3, 2014.. As most of you know, Paranormal Activity 4 was a box office disappointment last year.. I'm sure the studio does not want its signature horror franchise to fall in the same trap that the 'SAW' franchise did a few years ago.. So this bit of news is not a big surprise..
Note To Paramount Pictures: I know you guys love to pretend that these films are real found footage, and yes there are still a few sad wanderers who still believe.. But if you - the studio want me to pay $20 bucks for a blu-ray.. You better start adding some real "special features", you know like deleted scenes, featurettes, director/cast commentary.. Enough with the bare-bones bs.. Thank you, drive-thru..
