Checking the calendar, no it's not April first, uggg shit.. It appears Sony has hired a new writer for BIG screen adaptation of Marvels VENOM.. Kelly Marcel (Fifty Shades of Grey) has been tapped to come up with a new script? You would think Sony would seek out someone who has connection to the genre.. Will the film be re-titled Fifty Shades of Venom?
Anyways for now the flick will star, Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed and Jenny Slate - Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) is still on board to direct. Sony has also confirmed the film will be release October 5, 2018.. Avi Arad will produce, along with Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal..
