I Watched 'The Last Voyage Of The Demeter':

Follow Me Over At Slasher:

Stephanie and yours truly finally watched 'The Last Voyage of the Demeter' last night and it was freaking awesome.. The film was everything I wanted it to be a Vampire/Dracula movie that was actually brutal and scary.

Dracula was a true menacing force of evil and not some handsome Casanova having every female on the planet lusting after him.

Javier Botet was excellent in his portrayal of Dracula his look was a throwback back to 1922 Nosferatu. The entire cast was pretty awesome. Anyways I highly recommend this film.

Just wish Stephanie and I were able to check the film out on the big screen but the flick wasn't screened at to our local theater, oh well definitely a must watch so check it out!

10 out of 10 Severed Thumbs!!

Story: Based on a single chapter, the Captain's Log, from Bram Stoker's classic 1897 novel "Dracula", the story is set aboard the Russian schooner Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo - 24 unmarked wooden crates - from Carpathia to London.

The film will detail the strange events that befell the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each night by a terrifying presence on board the ship.

When it finally arrived near Whitby Harbour, it was derelict. There was no trace of the crew.
