Taking A Look At Ed Wood's 'GLEN OR GLENDA' From Screen Classics:

Don't care what anyone says Ed Wood's 'GLEN OR GLENDA' is a masterpiece. All joking aside I actually did enjoy the film yes it's one of those I guess you could call it's so bad it's good. You can tell this was a very personal story for Ed Wood after all he was a Cross-dresser.

Not something I would ever be into but I know a lot of people are. Whatever floats your boat. But I couldn't imagine trying to explain this to very conservative 1950s Americans 🤦🏻‍♂️

Exploitation/Sexploitation
Z movie producer George Weiss who owned the highly low budget production company 'Screen Classics' wanted to make a film based on Jorgensen's story but he could not land the rights. So he decided to hire Ed Wood to come up with a script similar Jorgensen's story.

Shot on a budget of $20 thousand dollars and released in 1953 via Screen Classics the film was critically panned and a financial flop for producer George Weiss with many critics calling the film worst movie ever made. But over the decades the flick has gained a solid cult following. Christine Jorgensen who gained notoriety in the United States after having a sex change operation in Europe.

I can tell you right now this film is not even in the same ballpark when talking about worst films ever made. I would honestly give the film a 7 out of 10 Severed Thumbs.

By no means am I going to tell anyone to check it out unless you are open minded and willing to give a story like this a chance.
